Silver Dollar Eucalyptus

The silver-dollar gum (Eucalyptus Polyanthemos) is an evergreen tree native to Australia. Along with other Eucalyptus trees, the silver-dollar gum was an important tree for the Australian Aborigines. The wood is used to make fences, tools, and canoes. Some trees have scars where bark has been removed by Aboriginal people.
Ethnobotanical uses: As an insect repellent, dried eucalyptus naturally repels spiders. Make a sachet out of dried eucalyptus leaves and place them in your cabinets and drawers.
